Dr. Goodman attended college in Kalamazoo, Michigan, followed by medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. His internship and residency both took place in California, at Highland Alameda County Hospital and Stanford University, respectively. From there, he spent more than 25 years in practice on the Mendocino Coast, followed by a stint in the East Bay, ultimately settling in Davis in 2000.
