Museums do not generate revenue, and so the biggest worry is that the city will decide that historical buildings such as the Hattie Weber Museum will eventually be destroyed if nobody steps in to help out. “Old places like this have to go. We in preservation know this,” he sighs. “Our goal is to save a few things around that we can still look at and say, ‘that’s the way it used to be.’”
